Description #

A small drab brown and grey bird with a streaked back. Brownish to grey underneath, and has a fine pointed dark bill. Adults have a grey head, and both sexes are similarly coloured. Quiet and unobtrusive, it is often seen on its own, creeping along the edge of a flower bed or near to a bush, moving with a rather nervous, shuffling gait, often flicking its wings as it goes.
