Description #

Portly, bull-necked bird distinctive by its bright pink breast and strong black crown cap. Their upper back is pale grey and their rump is white. Their medium-lengthed, notched wings are black with a bold white bar and their tail is also black, with a white patch. Female similar in build to the male, but with a pale buff-pink breast and a pink-grey back.
